La fondation québécoise
pour la recherche en agroforesterie
The Fondation québécoise pour la recherche en agroforesterie was created in 1992 by the UPA, its federations and affiliated associations, which are the Fondation’s only members. The Fondation is a tool for taking part in various research partnership systems with the potential to further the development of the agri-food and forestry industry in Québec. It is also a collection structure for private sector funds to be used in public sector research centres or stations.

  Mission

To promote research on agriculture, forestry, food and other related areas. The Fondation solicits and receives contributions from any individual, corporation, company or other corporate entity and sees to its management. It is with the funds it raises or that are entrusted to it that the Fondation carries out research projects, either as legal agent or project initiator.
