Training for anglophone maple syrup producers

Saint-Ignace-de-Stanbridge - The Montérégie Maple Syrup Producers’ Unions are pleased to invite maple syrup producers from across the Montérégie region to participate in an English-language training session taking place this November in Saint-Ignace-de-Stanbridge.

The training session will focus on several key aspects of maple syrup production, including identifying the causes of off-flavours in maple syrup and exploring practical solutions to prevent them. Other topics will include tapping techniques, particularly the potential consequences of tapping near previous tapholes, as well as best practices and strategies to improve production efficiency and overall performance.

The event will also provide an opportunity for producers to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and discuss current issues and developments in the maple syrup industry.
